Utah's Hogle Zoo
Emma wanted a picture with this big elephant the moment we walked into the zoo. The kids had so much fun listening to it play a little song and then shoot air out of its nose.

All in all it was a successful day, I would say that it measured up to the girls expectations. It was a joy to see the expressions on the girls faces as they explored each exhibit. It was a good day to be at the zoo, with the weather, not many people were there. We had free run of the place. One last grand adventure before our next challenge...the new bundle of joy.

As difficult as it is to get out with the family during the last few weeks of a pregnancy, it still seems easier than getting out anytime soon after the baby is born -- at least for me. I'm glad the girls got to go to the zoo. When Isabelle was much younger, she hung her foot a little too far over the edge of the orangutan exhibit and her flip-flop dropped -- we never saw it again. Did you see an orangutan wearing a leather flip-flop with lots of jewels?

I too hope you have that baby soon...the last few weeks seem to be torture! Can't wait to see him/her.
